evening learning how to make pattern fills in Photoshop (quite easy really - check out the result!) and planning out the quilt I could see in my head. I love the simplicity of it, so many different takes on the same easy little split square! The version she shows is a more traditional looking quilt than the one I wanted to start. So with a plan on paper, I started cutting the next morning. Cutting takes the most time in this project so far, the blocks go together so quickly, my instant gratification receptors are buzzing! I have another row and a half (9 more blocks) to have the top ready to border and quilt! I'm doing a kiddie quilt size, perfect with the colors, hoping it turns out well enough to put in the "sell on Etsy" pile. Loving it so far, so wish me luck!
